NOTE: I apologize to those fans who I'm unable to answer directly due to technical difficulties. I hope the answers you need are below. Peter.
A: April 1 is the official release date of the book, but in reality it will be released gradually between now and then. You can order it on the "Buy the Book" page on this site or on Amazon.com and it will be mailed to you as soon as physically available.
Q: Are there photos in the book?
A: There are definitely photos in the book, some of which are familiar to dedicated Motown-Supremes-Ballard fans, but approximately 4-5 of which are very surprising, perhaps shocking, and which I can GUARANTEE that not a single fan has ever seen before.
Q: Why did is take so long to publish the book?
Q: It took so long to publish the book because interest in Flo dropped off sharply after her death. Then Mary Wilson's book
Dreamgirl: My Life as a Supreme, absorbed all the interest generated by the Broadway musical
Dreamgirls, and interest in Flo wasn't revived until the movie
Dreamgirls was released 30 years after Flo's death. As it turned out, though, it's a much better book for waiting this long, because sources who weren't available right after Flo's death eventually became available and were able to shed a lot of light on what actually happened to The Lost Supreme.
